Job summary

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Developmental Services, is seeking an Assistant Unit Director at the Emergency Stabilization Unit located at Hogan Regional Center in Danvers, MA. This role oversees residential and program services, ensuring active treatment and compliance with Title XIX standards, while coordinating with Labor Relations and human resources.

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00am - 6:30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising within a unionized workforce.
• Knowledge of Title XIX Regulations.
• Experience with budget management.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, evaluates, supervises staff in delivering mandated residential and day program services.
• Allocates and deploys staff to meet facility/unit goals.
• Manage fiscal performance related to operations and budget constraints.
• Recruit hires and maintains low vacancy rate per bargaining agreements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and department standards.
