Job summary

The Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is seeking a mission-driven Unit Director for North Shore Enterprises, based at the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers, MA. You will oversee the Day Program, ensuring Title XIX compliance and managing budgeted operations while upholding rights and dignity for individuals.

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time or equivalent experience in administration or management.
• Experience supervising within a unionized workforce.
• Budget management experience.
• Experience discussing support needs within interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Title 19 regulations and program requirements.
• Substitution rules allow degree/credential replacements for experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Title XIX in all unit operations.
• Oversee NSE Day Program at the Hogan Regional Center.
• Develop, manage and monitor support systems for individuals.
• Maintain operations within defined budgetary boundaries.
• Promote rights, dignity, and community participation for individuals.
• Collaborate with psychology, recreation, speech, OT, PT disciplines.
• Plan, supervise staffing, and manage hiring, overtime and labor relations.
