Job summary

Massachusetts Department of Public Health seeks a Facility Director to lead Hogan Regional Center in Danvers, MA, overseeing clinical, physical, administrative and operational functions for approximately 80 residents. The role requires strong governance, regulatory compliance, and budget management in a complex, multi-building campus.

Qualifications

• Six years of full-time or equivalent experience in management, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Experience administering services for individuals with significant disabilities and complex needs.
• Ability to manage within a budget and ensure fiscal soundness.
• Knowledge of DDS regulations, Title XIX compliance, and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective oversight, administration and operational direction for a 24/7 facility.
• Ensure compliance with DDS policies and Title XIX regulations.
• Establish and maintain communication with staff, providers, and government stakeholders.
• Create opportunities for residents to engage with the surrounding community.
• Lead regular management team meetings covering ISPs, clinical treatment, operations and facilities.
• Manage, monitor and analyze a budget for services, administration and facilities; approve expenditures within allocations.
• Develop relationships with local unions and staff培训 to foster professional growth.
• Oversee policy, program and budget issues with DDS leadership.
• Approve hiring, promotions, demotions and terminations in collaboration with employment offices.
