Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking a Unit Director for the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers, MA. This role provides oversight of the 1 Hathorne Circle unit, ensuring compliance with Title XIX and managing staff and budgets within defined boundaries.

Reporting to the Assistant Facility Director, the candidate will supervise the unit team, coordinate with maintenance and purchasing, and lead clinical and administrative communications, including admissions, transitions, and risk meetings.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in Human Services providing support to people and in applying complex regulations to daily practices and operations.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisor or management capacity.
• Knowledge of management principles including planning, organizing, directing, motivating, controlling and supervision.
• Ability to supervise, assign work, train, evaluate staff and take disciplinary action when needed.
• Ability to analyze program data, draw conclusions and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise data collection, analysis, and reporting for decision making by the facility director.
• Ensure facility compliance with Federal and State regulations through monitoring and planning.
• Develop and implement plans of correction for deficiencies from surveys.
• Hire, train, supervise staff and manage scheduling and performance.
• Participate in admission and discharge processes with families and clinicians.
• Oversee ISP compliance and supervise Qualified Intellectual Disability Professionals.
