Qualifications

• Knowledge of DDS Regulations, Policies and Practices and service delivery systems.
• Knowledge of Title XIX regulations and program requirements.
• Knowledge of the Department of Developmental Services philosophy and programs.
• Knowledge of service provision, program monitoring, and accountability processes.
• Knowledge of issues related to intellectual and physical disabilities.
• Knowledge of HR principles and practices.
• Knowledge of mandated training requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, evaluates, and supervises staff to deliver mandated residential and day services.
• Allocates staff to achieve facility goals and ensures trained personnel availability.
• Manage fiscal performance, monitor overtime, conduct cost analysis, and adjust staffing to budget.
• Recruit and hire staff, maintain low vacancy rate per bargaining agreements.
• Work with Labor Relations and OLPA on FMLA and related processes.
• Monitor staff attendance and disciplinary processes with Labor Relations.
• Maintain supplies and the physical plant in compliance with standards.
• Oversee evaluation systems and train supervisors on performance criteria.
• Participate in facility committees and weekly senior management meetings.
