To be considered for this position, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with previous clerical, administrative, or customer service experience. Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and computer skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment. Previous experience as a Unit Clerk, Unit Secretary, or in a hospital or medical office setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic medical records, physician order entry, and healthcare documentation is also preferred.
