Job summary

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is hiring a Payroll Administrator to support accurate union payroll across multiple locations and projects. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll rules while delivering excellent service to employees and management.

Qualifications

• Union payroll experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of payroll administration or payroll processing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll practices, wage and hour regulations, payroll taxes, and payroll compliance requirements.
• Experience processing payroll in a multi-state environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly union payroll or other designated payroll cycles accurately and timely.
• Review and audit time records, payroll data, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain payroll records, employee earnings, deductions, direct deposits, and tax information.
• Ensure compliance with union contracts, federal, state, local labor laws, and company payroll requirements.
• Process payroll-related employee transactions (new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, pay rate changes).
• Assist with certified payroll reporting and prevailing wage requirements, as applicable.
• Coordinate payroll activities with HR, Accounting, and Operations teams.
• Serve as point of contact for payroll inquiries from employees and management.
• Support payroll tax reporting and assist with preparation of W-2s and filings.
• Process wage garnishments and other deductions in compliance with regulations.
• Generate payroll reports and analyze payroll data for management decisions.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.
• Assist with payroll audits, compliance reviews, and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform other payroll and administrative duties as assigned
