Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• At least 1 year of payroll experience in a union environment preferred.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and related tax handling is required.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for 850+ employees.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Manage daily hours for all facilities.
• Review timesheets and payroll documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
• Enter time, process direct deposits, and handle payroll adjustments.
• Process union-related payroll items including dues, COPE, and health/welfare contributions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports and year-end tasks.
• Address employee payroll inquiries and maintain confidentiality.
