Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in New York City seeks a Union Helper to perform building maintenance and assist with mechanical/HVAC systems, minor repairs, and general labor tasks.

You will support engineering staff, conduct rounds, and ensure safety and upkeep. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, NYC Fire Department certificates of fitness, ability to lift 50 lbs, basic computer skills, and willingness to work a unionized environment under Local 94 guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NYC Fire Department certificates of fitness may be required.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering staff in operating building mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Assist in maintenance and repairs of equipment in mechanical/HVAC areas.
• Perform general labor tasks: receiving deliveries, moving materials and stocking.
• Conduct daily rounds and log conditions in mechanical spaces.
