Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Unified Communications (UC) Engineer to support the implementation, management, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise UC systems. You will deploy and support VoIP, SIP, and Microsoft Teams solutions while ensuring seamless integration with the organization’s IT infrastructure.

The role requires strong networking and UC experience, excellent troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with network management and unified communications technologies.
• Strong knowledge of VoIP and SIP implementation and support.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams implementation and administration.
• Experience with UCaaS solutions such as Microsoft Teams, 8x8, RingCentral, Cisco, or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory relating to UC environments.
• Experience administering, supporting, or migrating Avaya voice/telephony systems.
• Project management or coordination experience in UC implementations, upgrades, or migrations.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, maintain, and support enterprise unified communications systems.
• Deploy and manage VoIP and SIP technologies and ensure integration with existing network infrastructure.
• Support the implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Teams.
• Manage and support UCaaS platforms such as Microsoft Teams, 8x8, RingCentral, Cisco, or similar solutions.
• Troubleshoot voice, network, connectivity, call-quality, and UC issues.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Assist with UC-related projects, upgrades, migrations, and system integrations.
• Maintain technical documentation related to UC configurations and infrastructure.
