• Project management or coordination experience in UC implementations, upgrades, or migrations.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Unified Communications (UC) Engineer to support the implementation, management, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise unified communications systems. This individual will be responsible for deploying and supporting VoIP, SIP, and Microsoft Teams solutions, while ensuring seamless integration with the organization’s existing network and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking and unified communications, along with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. The pay range for this role is $60-$68/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, maintain, and support enterprise unified communications systems.
• Deploy and manage VoIP and SIP technologies and ensure integration with existing network infrastructure.
• Support the implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Teams.
• Manage and support UCaaS platforms, such as Microsoft Teams, 8x8, RingCentral, Cisco, or similar solutions.
• Troubleshoot voice, network, connectivity, call-quality, and unified communications issues.
• Work with internal IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to successfully implement communication solutions.

Skills and Requirements

• Proven experience with network management and unified communications technologies.

• Experience working with UCaaS solutions, such as Microsoft Teams, 8x8, RingCentral, Cisco, or similar platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, particularly as it relates to user administration, authentication, and UC environments.
• Experience administering, supporting, or migrating Avaya voice/telephony systems.
• Previous project management or project coordination experience, including the ability to lead or coordinate UC implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
