Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to provide administrative and servicing support to underwriting teams, processing policy transactions and maintaining accurate records. You will collaborate with underwriters, carrier partners, agents, and internal teams to ensure compliance and exceptional service.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred; equivalent work experience okay.

Responsibilities

• Process policy transactions including quotes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, audits, and other servicing tasks.
• Review submissions and documentation for completeness and carrier guidelines.
• Assist underwriting staff with policy issuance and binding activities.
• Maintain organized underwriting files and documentation.
• Coordinate collection of required documentation for underwriting and servicing.
• Communicate professionally with agents, carriers, clients, and internal partners.
• Follow up on outstanding items and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate records.
• Support workflows and initiatives to improve efficiency and service quality.
