Job summary

AXIS Capital is hiring a Technical Assistant to support underwriting processes, manage documentation, and assist with policy issuance. You will work on data gathering, coordination with underwriters and account managers, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers opportunities to collaborate across teams, handle various clerical tasks, and develop expertise in commercial insurance workflows in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires a high school diploma; an undergraduate degree is preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years of experience in commercial insurance is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize information for insurance applications and underwriting documents.
• Assist with policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and related transactions.
• Input data into systems and support due diligence and compliance requirements.
• Communicate with clients/brokers and coordinate with underwriting team to ensure service quality.
