AXIS Capital seeks a motivated Technical Assistant to support underwriting operations in Alpharetta, GA. You will gather application data, organize documents, and assist with policy issuance while coordinating with underwriters, account managers, and clients to ensure accurate records and timely service.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment. A 3-day-in-office cadence is typical.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Undergraduate degree preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years’ experience in the commercial insurance industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize information for insurance applications and risk factors.
• Assist underwriters and account managers with documentation and processing.
• Input data into PIL and endorsement logs, using underwriting software.
• Communicate with clients/brokers and internal teams to ensure smooth workflows.
• Support the TA team with backup coverage and cross-department collaboration.
