New York Life Group Benefit Solutions is seeking a Full‑Time Underwriting Analyst for the LAUNCH Program in a hybrid role. You will participate in structured training, develop underwriting knowledge, and apply it to live opportunities with mentorship.

The role involves risk assessment, collaboration with matrix partners, and ongoing professional development across multiple benefits products. Travel may be required during the program.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Business Management, or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• High comfort level with math/numbers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Aspiration to become a leader in financial services.
• Customer-centric approach and business acumen.

Responsabilidades

• Assess risk and underwrite prospective Group Benefit Solutions clients across Life, Accident, Disability, Absence Administration, and Voluntary Benefits.
• Communicate pricing, profitability, and risk profile to internal partners.
• Contribute to financial goals through prudent risk decisions.
• Collaborate with underwriting team members to solve problems.
• Negotiate with matrix partners to create long‑term value for clients and the organization.
• Engage in LAUNCH Program training and apply concepts to active business opportunities.
• Learn and participate in ongoing training beyond the first year.
• Support a sales region and take on increasing daily decision‑making responsibilities.
