New York Life is seeking a Full-Time Underwriting Analyst in a Hybrid role (3 days on-site per week) within the LAUNCH program. You will receive structured training and hands‑on underwriting across Life, Accident, Disability, Absence Administration, and Voluntary Benefits, with mentorship to accelerate your career.

You will develop risk assessment, collaboration with matrix partners, and leadership skills while contributing to financial goals and client protection in a growth‑oriented team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High comfort level with math/numbers.
• Some travel may be required (<10%).

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and underwrite prospective Group Benefit Solutions clients (Life, Accident, Disability, Absence Administration, Voluntary Benefits).
• Communicate pricing, profitability, and risk with internal partners.
• Collaborate with underwriting team to solve problems and create value.
• Participate in LAUNCH Training and apply concepts to active business opportunities.
• Support regional sales and continue professional development after LAUNCH.
