Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to support underground and dry utility construction on large data center projects across Texas.

You will lead day-to-day field safety efforts, ensuring compliant practices for underground electric, telecom, and duct bank installations. The ideal candidate has extensive construction safety experience, OSHA 30 certification, and strong leadership to foster a proactive safety culture across

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience with underground utilities, civil/sitework or dry utility construction.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting safety operations on large-scale data center, industrial, or utility infrastructure projects.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required; additional safety certifications preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field audits and site inspections to identify and mitigate safety risks.
• Monitor and support safe work practices for excavation, trenching, shoring, and utility work.
• Provide real-time safety guidance to field personnel, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Lead daily safety meetings, JHAs, and tailgate talks.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain project safety documentation and training records.
