Job summary

Future, a Primoris Company, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to install and repair underground utilities. You will operate excavators and support equipment, read blueprints, and ensure accurate trenching while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy equipment for underground utilities safely.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and utility maps.
• Follow safety regulations and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, backhoes, trenchers, and other heavy equipment for underground utilities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, locate utility lines, and ensure accurate excavation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues.
• Adhere to safety regulations and traffic control measures.
• Coordinate with ground crew to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assist with manual labor as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients.
