Job summary

Future, a Primoris Company, is seeking a skilled general laborer to support underground utility projects in Texas. You will perform digging, shoveling, backfilling, and material handling while maintaining a clean, safe worksite and wearing appropriate PPE.

Collaboration with a crew and adherence to safety procedures are essential. Responsibilities include operating hand and power tools, assisting with installation and maintenance of utilities, and directing traffic in work zones when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience in construction or underground utility work is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor such as digging trenches, shoveling, and backfilling using hand tools and power equipment.
• Assist in installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utilities, including pipes and conduits.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools such as shovels, picks, tampers, jackhammers, and compactors.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and other vehicles.
• Keep job sites clean and safe, follow PPE requirements and company safety policies.
• Assist equipment operators and other crew members as needed.
• Perform flagging duties to direct traffic around work zones when required.
