Job summary

Sibanye Stillwater is hiring a General Foreman - Mobile Maintenance at East Boulder Mine in McLeod, MT. You will lead underground mobile equipment maintenance, align planning with frontline execution, and drive safety, reliability, and cost efficiency across shifts.

Key duties include setting priorities, approving plans, coaching Supervisors and the Planner, and ensuring regulatory compliance with MSHA and site controls. Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of stationary and mobile maintenance in heavy industry.
• Ability to set priorities and manage maintenance commitments.
• Experience coordinating planners, supervisors and safety.
• Familiarity with MSHA site controls and lockout procedures.
• Proven track record in cost control and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance of underground mobile equipment and set priorities.
• Approve maintenance commitments and review weekly/monthly plans.
• Coach Supervisors and Planner; develop leadership and succession.
• Ensure safe work practices and hazard controls are in place.
• Review staffing, training needs, and contractor utilization.
• Oversee budget, parts usage, and repair-versus-replace decisions.
• Coordinate access, return-to-service, and environmental actions.
• Monitor safety, reliability, and downtime metrics; drive improvements.
• Ensure auditable daily shift plans and maintenance records.
