  • Set weekly and monthly Mobile Maintenance safety priorities by reviewing incidents, near misses, inspections, audit findings, equipment damage, and upcoming high-risk work with Supervisors, the Planner, and Safety.
  • Ensure field and planned-work controls are effective by reviewing Supervisor verification of workplace conditions and confirming the Planner incorporates required hazards, permits, procedures, lifting controls, and isolations into scheduled work.
  • Set clear weekly and monthly expectations and decision boundaries for Supervisors and the Planner through operating reviews, documented commitments, and routine follow-up.
  • Hold Supervisors and the Planner accountable for their respective safety, execution, planning, scheduling, readiness, documentation, and feedback responsibilities by reviewing agreed measures and addressing gaps promptly.

  • Maintain near-term staffing and skills by reviewing leave, vacancies, overtime, contractor needs, and qualification gaps and then reallocating resources or coordinating recruiting, onboarding, and training support.
  • Set weekly and monthly fleet-maintenance priorities by evaluating safety risk, production criticality, equipment condition, preventive maintenance due dates, failure history, backlog status, and available resources.
  • Approve the rolling one-month maintenance plan and weekly schedule through structured reviews of capacity, equipment access, shop constraints, labor and skills, parts, tooling, contractors, and operational risk.
  • Resolve near-term constraints and authorize significant break-in work, schedule changes, equipment releases, high-risk repairs, contractor use, overtime, or maintenance deferrals by weighing safety, production impact, resource availability, and delegated authority.
  • Coordinate equipment access, return-to-service requirements, and environmental actions through weekly and monthly reviews with Operations and other responsible functions.
  • Control near-term spending by authorizing expenditures within delegated authority, escalating exceptions, and reviewing overtime, contractor use, parts consumption, component costs, warranty recovery, and repair-versus-replace decisions.
  • Correct unfavorable cost or utilization trends by assigning recovery actions, accountable owners, and due dates and tracking progress through weekly and monthly reviews.
  • Evaluate departmental performance through weekly and monthly reviews of schedule and preventive maintenance compliance, break-in work, backlog age, rework, repeat failures, availability, labor utilization, overtime, cost variance, and corrective-action closure.
  • Ensure safety controls, required inspections, incident reporting, and corrective actions are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure weekly schedules and the rolling one-month maintenance plan are resource-ready, achieved target, and converted into auditable Daily Shift Plans.
  • Verify preventive maintenance compliance, equipment availability, backlog health, repeat failures, rework, and significant downtime meet established targets or have effective corrective actions.
  • Verify break-in, deferred, and rescheduled work is accurately documented, reviewed, and reduced where preventable
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Lead Mobile Maintenance Supervisors, the planning function, and supporting resources across shifts and work areas.
  • Able to make and document sound decisions involving schedule commitments, break-in or deferred work, overtime, contractors, equipment release, and resource allocation.
