Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Supervisor - Mine SLE to lead frontline underground operations at East Boulder Mine in McLeod, MT. You will translate the approved weekly plan into daily shift plans, direct crews, verify conditions, and ensure safe, compliant execution.

Responsibilities include coaching, documenting actions, maintaining alignment with planning, and escalating issues to the Execution General Foreman to protect safety, productivity, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years underground production/development/mine-support experience.
• Current explosives-related qualifications or ability to obtain them.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in mining, mining engineering, engineering technology, operations management, or related field preferred.
• One or more years in a lead or supervisor role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient underground mining operations daily.
• Translate weekly plans into resource-ready daily shift plans and direct crews.
• Verify work conditions and results, and document coaching or corrective actions.
• Escalate constraints or changes to the Execution General Foreman.
• Maintain planning-to-execution alignment and timely reporting.
