Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater's Stillwater Mine in Nye, MT seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead mobile maintenance and related plant systems. You will translate weekly schedules into daily shift work, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate crews, parts, and tools to maximize equipment availability and reliability.

You will partner with planning, operations, and safety to drive disciplined execution, review work orders, train and mentor hourly staff, and deliver timely performance reporting

Qualifications

• Lead maintenance crews and convert planned work into daily shift execution.
• Experience with CMMS/JDEdwards.
• Strong leadership and safety knowledge (MSHA) and reporting requirements.
• Ability to train and coach hourly employees and review safety processes.
• Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with SOPs and LOTO/permit controls.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce safe behaviors and ensure work is performed safely per standards.
• Visit employees per shift to review exams and inspections, validating safe conditions.
• Monitor fit-for-duty status and remove unsafe personnel when needed.
• Coordinate with safety for task training and equipment readiness.
• Communicate shift plan and allocate resources/equipment for daily work.
• Provide coaching and feedback and support hiring or performance actions.
• Document and report daily progress, deviations, and end-of-shift summaries.
