Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a highly motivated Field Technician - Underground to support customers operating underground mining equipment across Arizona and other territories. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on hard rock underground equipment and perform high-quality repairs in the field.

The role requires frequent travel to customer sites and the ability to work both above and below ground, with base location in Tucson or Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Diesel Technology preferred.
• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training.
• May require a DOT physical; other certifications may apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Komatsu equipment with a focus on hard rock underground.
• Provide timely, effective repairs of machine components in the field.
• Complete assigned jobs within flat-rate times and update metrics.
• Work safely and follow KEC/Customer safety policies and procedures.
• Document work orders, parts orders, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS, STW accurately.
