Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Field Technician - Underground Mining to support customers operating underground mining equipment throughout Arizona and other assigned territories. This position plays a critical role in maintaining equipment availability and providing exceptional customer support at active mining operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree in Diesel Technology preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training.
• Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Komatsu underground hard rock equipment.
• Perform timely, effective repairs of machine components in the field.
• Complete jobs to meet flat rate times and update metrics.
• Work safely and follow KEC/Customer safety policies.
• Complete paperwork and access required databases accurately.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules.
