Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a highly motivated Field Technician - Underground Mining to support customers operating underground mining equipment across assigned territories. This role emphasizes mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting with frequent travel to sites, including work above and below ground.

The ideal candidate will have experience on heavy equipment in mining or related industries and be based in Tucson or Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in diesel technology preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and work shifts.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair underground mining equipment.
• Perform timely repairs to components in the field.
• Complete jobs to meet flat-rate times; document work.
• Follow safety policies and document work orders and paperwork.
• Adhere to contamination control and HAZMAT rules.
