Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Field Technician - Underground Mining to support customers operating underground mining equipment across Arizona and assigned territories. The role requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills and travel to customer sites, including above and below ground work in underground environments.

The candidate should be based in Tucson or Phoenix, AZ, with the ability to work various schedules and maintain safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in diesel technology preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Komatsu underground equipment.
• Perform timely repairs of machine components in the field.
• Complete jobs to meet flat rate times; document work orders and related paperwork.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; maintain contamination control.
• Travel to customer sites; work above and below ground as needed.
