Job summary

Redpath USA Corporation is seeking a journey level Mechanic to perform quality maintenance, diagnostics, and rebuilds on diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems in mining equipment including jumbo drills and haul trucks. The role covers disassembly/assembly, testing, and safe operation of underground mobile equipment.

The candidate will work with maintenance teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations, complete paperwork, and support 40+ hour weeks with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of documented maintenance experience on heavy mining equipment.
• Underground mining experience preferred (2+ years).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using manuals and diagrams.
• Perform preventative and major maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and disassembly/assembly.
• Test repaired equipment to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, and service trucks.
• Order parts accurately and complete required paperwork.
• Maintain safe work areas and follow safety directives.
