Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Foreman to lead crews in constructing and repairing electrical underground distribution systems.

You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites including out-of-state locations, and report to the General Foreman. Responsibilities include coaching crews, conducting safety briefings, overseeing project quality and deadlines, and performing live line work with appropriate PPE and tools.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of underground line experience required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice; out-of-state assignments possible.
• Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds; work outside hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Provide coaching and training to lower classification employees.
• Oversee projects to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot and locate faults.
• Perform live line work with PPE and insulated tools; follow switching and tagging procedures.
