Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground distribution systems, safely managing energized and de-energized lines, and traveling to various job sites as needed.

You will supervise, conduct pre-job safety briefings, train junior workers, and ensure quality and on-time completion, using live-line procedures and PPE. This role requires five years of underground line experience, a CDL, and willingness to travel; outdoor work in all weather and

Qualifications

• Five years of recent underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Oversee work to ensure quality and completion deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors, including fault locating.
• Perform live line work using PPE and insulated sticks.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage at all times.
