Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a safety-focused Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground electric distribution systems. The role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, traveling to various job sites, including out-of-state locations, and reporting to the General Foreman.

You will supervise crew safety, coach lower classification employees, and ensure quality and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of underground line experience.
• CDL is required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends/holidays.
• Out-of-state assignments may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Oversee project work and ensure quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot faults.
• Perform live line work using PPE and insulated tools.
• Ensure proper switching, tagging, grounding and voltage testing procedures.
• Operate excavation equipment as needed.
• Work outdoors in varied and extreme conditions.
• Participate in outages, storms, emergencies and on-call rotations.
