Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground electrical distribution systems. This role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, traveling to multiple job sites, and reporting to the General Foreman.

The candidate will supervise safety briefings, ensure quality, and handle live-line work with approved PPE and insulated sticks. A CDL is required, and long-distance travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime and outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of underground distribution systems.
• Manage project quality and deadlines.
• Oversee installation and repair of underground facilities and conductors.
• Perform live line work with PPE and insulated sticks.
• Coordinate work across energized and de-energized lines.
• Coordinate with safety protocols and confined space requirements.
• Travel to various job sites, including out-of-state locations.
