Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing energized underground distribution systems. The role requires travel to project sites, including out-of-state locations, and reports to the General Foreman. Emphasis on safety and successful project completion under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include training crew members, overseeing quality, and performing live-line work with PPE and insulated tools. Physical requirements and long hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Five years of underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials/equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including weekends, holidays, and emergency callouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew on construction and repair of underground distribution systems.
• Conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Coach and train lower- classification employees in safe procedures.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines, assuming full responsibility.
• Perform live-line work with PPE and insulated tools.
