Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a safety-focused Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground distribution systems. You will manage energized and de-energized lines and travel to multiple job sites as needed, reporting to the General Foreman.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of underground line experience, a valid CDL, and a willingness to work overtime, respond to outages, and operate heavy equipment in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew to perform underground distribution construction, maintenance and repair safely.
• Provide pre-job safety briefings and coach junior staff.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines.
• Perform live-line work with PPE and insulated tools.
• Operate excavation equipment and manage job sites in varying conditions.
