Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a safety‑minded Foreman to lead crews in the construction and repair of underground electrical distribution systems. You will work on energized and de‑energized lines, with travel to various job sites as needed and report to the General Foreman.

The role requires five years of underground line experience, a valid CDL, and the ability to work long hours, including outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underground line experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Oversee project crews, ensuring quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; diagnose faults.
• Coordinate switching, tagging, grounding, and voltage testing procedures.
• Perform live-line work using PPE and insulated sticks.
• Operate and maintain excavation equipment and PPE for confined spaces.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and conditions; respond to outages and emergencies.
