Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground distribution systems. You will operate on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to out-of-state sites as needed.

The role requires strong safety focus, CDL, and ability to work extended hours, including outages and emergencies. Join a company with a long history in electrical construction and repair.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of underground line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform new construction, maintain and repair underground distribution systems while prioritizing safety.
• Oversee project work and take responsibility for quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot faults on primary and secondary systems.
• Perform live line work with approved PPE and insulated tools for voltage testing and switching.
