Job summary

Pramira Inc is seeking a Laborer in Brea, CA to support the outside plant division under supervision of the Construction Foreman. The role involves physical, outdoor construction tasks, site preparation, and equipment handling to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate is physically capable, willing to follow safety procedures, and able to work with a team to complete daily duties and documentation. Medical/dental benefits and 401(k) are provided as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver license with a clean driving record and health card.
• Self-motivated with ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers.
• Ability to exert heavy physical effort, lift heavy objects, kneel, crouch, balance, climb or crawl.
• Frequently use hand tools and pneumatic tools (tampers, compactors, 60 & 90lb jackhammer, chipping hammer).
• Assist in installation of conduit, hand holes, vaults, manholes and cable.
• Must pass a Drug Test and Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Operate compressors and missiles.
• Install pedestals and vaults.
• Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment safely.
• Dig trenches and remove, fill, or compact earth.
• Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces.
• Assist with handling and placement of conduit and cables.
• Perform site clean-up.
• Complete all required company documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Always comply with safety standards and procedures when operating equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Laborer is a member of our outside plant division, is directed by the Construction Foreman, accountable to ensure accuracy related to tasks and follow all policies and procedures related to safety, quality and production.
