Job summary

Pramira Inc. is seeking a Laborer to join our outside plant division in California. You will support the Construction Foreman, ensure safety, and perform essential site tasks across projects in building and telecom infrastructure.

The role involves physical labor, equipment operation, and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities for growth within a premier general contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old with a valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers.
• Heavy physical effort, lift heavy objects, kneel, crouch, balance, climb or crawl.
• Frequent use of hand tools, pneumatic tools (tampers, compactors, 60 & 90lb jackhammer, chipping hammer).
• Ability to assist in installation of conduit, hand holes, vaults, manholes and cable.
• Must pass a Drug Test & Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
• Assist crew members with construction work as required.
• Operate compressors and missiles.
• Install pedestals and vaults.
• Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment safely.
• Dig trenches and manage earth.
• Mix ingredients for covering or cleaning surfaces.
• Assist with placement of conduit and cables.
• Perform site clean-up.
• Complete all required Company documentation.

Job Description

The Laborer is a member of our outside plant division, is directed by the Construction Foreman, accountable to ensure accuracy related to tasks and follow all policies and procedures related to safety, quality and production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
• Assist crew members with construction work as required
• Operate compressors and missiles
• Install pedestals and vaults
• Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment in a safe manner
• Dig trenches and remove, fill, or compact earth
• Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces
• Assist with the handling and placement of conduit and cables
• Perform site clean-up
• Complete all required Company documentation
• Other duties as assigned
• Must always comply with proper safety standards/procedures and work practices while operating equipment according to Pramira’ s safety standards.
