The Concrete Laborer is a member of our outside plant division, directed by the Construction Foreman, and responsible for ensuring accuracy and following all safety,

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid driver''s license.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Capable of passing drug test and background check.
• Good teamwork and cooperation with coworkers.
• Experience with hand and pneumatic tools.
• Willingness to comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean construction sites to reduce hazards.
• Assist crew with concrete work and surface finishing.
• Operate hand and power tools to finish surfaces.
• Install anchors, forms, and fixtures in concrete.
• Check finished product quality and document tasks.
• Load, transport, and safely handle tools and materials.
• Dig trenches and manage conduit/cables placement.
• Complete company documentation and safety procedures.

Job Description

The Concrete Laborer is a member of our outside plant division, is directed by the Construction Foreman, accountable to ensure accuracy related to tasks and follow all policies and procedures related to safety, quality and production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
• Assist crew members with construction work as required
• Use hand and power tools to finish concrete surfaces.
• Smooth and level concrete surfaces with trowels and other tools.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete mixtures.
• Install anchors, forms, and other fixtures in concrete.
• Check the quality of the finished product.
• Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment in a safe manner
• Dig trenches and remove, fill, or compact earth
• Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces
• Assist with the handling and placement of conduit and cables
• Perform site clean-up
• Complete all required Company documentation
• Other duties as assigned
• Must always comply with proper safety standards/procedures and work practices while operating equipment according to Pramira’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old, have a valid driver license with clean driving record
• Self-motivated with ability to following oral and written instructions
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers
• Must have the ability to exert heavy physical effort, lift heavy physical objects, kneel, couch, balance, climb or crawl
• Frequently use hand tools, pneumatic tools (tampers, compactors, 60 & 90lb jackhammer, chipping hammer)
• Must have the ability to assist in the installation of conduit, hand holes, vaults, manholes and cable.
• Must pass a Drug Test & Background Check

Additional Information

Pay range:$21-$26/hr DOE
