Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed to manage security at a high-profile client site in the Boston area. The role includes directing a team, enforcing post orders, and maintaining safety and policy compliance.

Starting pay is $26.90 per hour with full-time hours Thu–Sat 6:45am–3:15pm and Sun–Mon 2:45pm–11:15pm; orientation and training are paid. Must be 21+, with at least 1 year of security experience and supervisory capability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• One of: Associate’s degree or higher, military service, police cadets, or related security experience.
• Two+ years of verifiable work experience including customer service, composure in emergencies, and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates regarding duties.
• Cross-train officers to increase versatility and site efficiency.
• Recommend productivity and cost reductions to management.
• Recommend improvements for security surveys and post orders.
• Recommend personnel actions for supervised staff.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for the shift.
• Ensure training and screening requirements are met for personnel.
• Minimize overtime and maintain contract compliance.
• Inspect personnel performance to ensure service quality.
