Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed to oversee the security of a high profile client’s facility and campus on a designated shift. You will deter misconduct, enforce policies, and supervise a team of security officers in day-to-day operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 2+ years of verifiable security experience, including supervisory duties. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and licensing as required by state/local laws.
• 1+ year verifiable security experience.
• 2+ years of verifiable work experience with customer service and emergency handling.
• Excellent oral and written communication; report writing.
• Planning and organizing skills; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates regarding duties.
• Cross-train officers to increase versatility and site efficiency.
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
• Recommend physical security surveys and post orders.
• Recommend personnel actions for those under supervision.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for the shift.
• Ensure contract training and screening elements are met.
• Minimize overtime or keep it at defined levels.
• Inspect personnel quality and contract compliance on shift.
• Assist in payroll, incident reports, and security surveys.
