Job summary

Allied Universal is currently hiring full-time Security Shift Supervisors for a management company in Allston, MA. Sunday–Thursday 7 AM–3 PM and Friday–Monday 7 AM–3 PM. Starting pay is $23.14 per hour, with paid orientation and training.

The Shift Supervisor will manage the security of a high-profile client’s facility and campus, enforce post orders, deter misconduct, and supervise security officers to ensure contract compliance and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state or local laws.
• Current and valid driver’s license is required.
• One or more of: Associate’s degree or higher; active-duty military service; police cadet service; or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates.
• Cross-train officers to improve versatility and site efficiency.
• Recommend productivity and cost-reduction measures to management.
• Suggest improvements for security surveys and post orders.
• Recommend personnel actions for those under supervision.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for the shift.
• Ensure required training and screening for personnel are met.
• Minimize overtime according to policy.
• Inspect security personnel and performance for contract adherence.
