Allied Universal is hiring a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed to oversee security at a high-profile client facility in the Boston area. Responsibilities include directing security personnel, enforcing post orders, and ensuring safety and compliance across a designated shift.

The role requires 1 year of security experience, 2+ years in related roles, strong customer service, and solid communication. Starting pay is $26.90/hour with paid orientation and training; full-time schedule and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• 1 year verifiable security experience.
• 2 years of related work experience with customer service.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to stay calm in emergencies.
• Strong communication, planning, and report-writing abilities.
• Experience with MS Office applications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
• Direct and instruct subordinates on duties.
• Cross-train officers for versatility on site.
• Recommend productivity and cost-saving improvements.
• Contribute to security surveys and post orders.
• Evaluate personnel actions for subordinates.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training.
• Ensure contract-required training and screening are met.
• Minimize overtime per policy.
• Maintain service quality and contract compliance.
