Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Environmental Awareness in Columbus, OH. You will monitor and protect clients across industries, provide exceptional customer service, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

This role includes night shifts at a fast-paced logistics location, enforcing access control, and responding to incidents

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and pass background checks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to undergo drug screening and licensing as applicable.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, visitors and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of loading areas, docks, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access and verify credentials of authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Observe and report hazards or irregularities to site personnel.
