Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government location by following site procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and helpfully, and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitors and staff per established access-control procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and patrol activities per site requirements.
