Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Client Service to safeguard clients across government sites. This role requires minimum 18 years old, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. A valid driver's license is needed for driving assignments.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as permitted by law.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or agency personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, maintaining logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with officials, staff, visitors, and first responders.
