Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Point Observation in Columbus, OH. You will monitor access, conduct patrols, and provide exceptional customer service at a logistics location.

Role requires enforcing access controls, maintaining logs, and responding calmly to incidents. Basic requirements include a HS diploma and eligibility for a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while enforcing site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify entry, and maintain logs per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms; document observations and notify staff.
• Support orderly movement of people and vehicles following post orders.
