Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Carleton, MI to monitor and protect client sites across Tech/Media/Telecom environments. This full-time role combines driving responsibilities with unarmed security duties and a strong focus on customer service.

You will document observations using approved technology, respond to alarms and incidents, and maintain a visible presence to deter issues while following site procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, production spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
