Job summary

Allied Universal in Carleton, MI is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer with driving duties to patrol and protect client sites. You will provide courteous customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors, monitor access points, and respond to incidents following established procedures.

This role requires a valid driver’s license for driving positions, a HS diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to work a set schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter incidents and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas per site procedures; report concerns or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear daily activity and incident reports and communicate during shift handoffs.
