Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol Support in Carleton, MI. You will perform armed? unarmed patrols, monitor access, and deliver exceptional customer service while following site procedures and policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, experience in customer service, and comfort using computers or tablets. Schedule includes daytime shifts with multiple weekday/weekend days.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures to maintain an orderly workplace.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate concerns through established channels.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
